  3. Now heat ghee in a pressure cooker and add chopped carrot, potatoes, brinjal, green peas and pigeon peas..
  4. Now add soaked and dal and rice mix it well. Add water in it..
  5. Add haldi powder and salt. Cover the pressure cooker lid, cook for 3-4 whistle bon medium flame..
  6. Let the khichdi get cool down. Now for tadka heat ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds, muster seeds, hing, dried red chilli, bay leaves, green chillies and curry leaves. Saute for a minute..
  7. Add garlic, ginger and onion. Sure till onion become soft and translucent. Add kasturi methi..
  8. Add chopped tomatoes and cover it. Cook it till tomato become soft and mashy. Now add haldi powder,red chilli powder, garam masala and dhaniya powder. Saute for 2-3 minutes..
  9. Once the ghee comes out add cooked khichdi in it. Mix well and let it be cook it for 2 minutes so tadka flavored add in to khichdi..
  10. Switch off the flame. Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves. Serve it hot with papad and yogurt or buttermilk..
