  2. Add the poha to yogurt. Mix well and let it soak in yogurt for about 5 minutes or until it softens..
  3. Add poha-yogurt mixture and little water to a blender and blend to a smooth paste..
  4. Add semolina, salt and water and pulse enough just to mix. Buttermilk can be substituted for water..
  5. At this stage you can add grated carrot, finely chopped onions and green chillies and mix well..
  6. Heat a non stick pan. When hot enough, pour 1/4 cup batter at the center and spread it out as much as possible. Spray oil around the edges. Cook until the bottom side turns brown. Flip it and cook on the other side too..
  7. Transfer the cheela on to a plate and serve hot with chutney and sambhar..
