Instructions to make Hare Matar ka shorba:
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add jeera, tejpatta,heeng.
- Now add sliced onion,saute till golden brown.
- Now add ginger garlic paste..saute for 1 minute.
- Add onion paste and tomato paste...cook for 5 minutes.
- Now add turmeric powder,coriander powder and red chilli powder and cook for 5 minutes.
- Now add grounded peas and salt....mix well and cook for another 10 -15 minutes.
- Add green peas whole and fry on high flame for 5 minutes.
- Now add 4 cups of water and bring to boil.
- Cook till the peas becomes tender.
- Finally add Garam masala and chopped coriander leaves and a little spring leaves if available.
- Serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
