The ingredients needed to make Lapsi:
- {Take 1/2 cup of Broken Wheat/Daliya.
- {Prepare 1/2 cup of Grated Jaggery.

- Wash nicely and soak broken wheat in enough water for 2 hours.
- Now take a pan and heat the ghee and fry the cashew nuts and raisin until it becomes golden brown, remove it using spoon and keep aside..
- Now in same ghee add broken wheat and stir fry on medium heat about 5 -10 mins until turns into the light brown colour..
- For the syrup Take 1 ½ cup water in a pan Add cardamom powder and let it boil Once it starts boiling add jaggery and let it dissolve on low heat.
- Take a tbsp of warm milk and add saffron to it..
- Now add the saffron milk to wheat and stir Once the jaggery is dissolved complete and water has become thick syrup add it to roasted broken wheat in the pan.
- Keep stirring and cover the pan so that it fry cooked nicely.
- When water is absolutely absorbed by wheat Add fried cashew raisin and mix it well, garnish with some more dry fruits and serve..
